Nicole is a trauma-informed therapist from Berlin, Germany, and is currently a Clinical Intern while pursuing her Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Certificate in Addiction Counseling at Appalachian State University. Her primary internship is at Dr. Erin Sesemann's Private Practice in Boone. She advocates for a holistic health approach, focusing on mind, body, and spirit, and relying on community support. She uses a humanistic approach to help students improve their self-esteem, independence, and resilience. Nicole enjoys outdoor activities, dancing, yoga, and virtual fostering with the Watauga Humane Society.
