The purpose of Celebrate EveryBODY Week is to raise awareness about body image concerns and disordered eating at Appalachian State University by providing opportunities for self-actualization, self-worth, and self-love. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss the correlation between media and body image while providing information about on-campus resources. 

Stop by the student union contact table the week of Celebrate EveryBODY Week, Monday - Thursday , for free swag and to pick up a calendar of events.


Monday October 22nd

Leave your _________ behind
  • As the leaves begin to change colors, come join us is showing Appalachian what you will leave behind in support of posity body image and celebrating every body!
  • Time: 10am-2pm

Tuesday October 23rd

Take a note, Leave a note
  • Join our educataors in spreading some positivity. Whether you choose to leave a note for someone, or if you are in need of a not, WECAN is here for you/
  • Time: 10am-2pm

Wednesday October 24th

Trivia Night 
  • Come hangout and compete for prizes! Trivia rounds will include music, visual, and 3 mystery rounds. Bring a team or join a team upon arrival. Teams are limited to 5 people.
  • Time: 7pm - 8pm
  • Location: PSU Whitewater Cafe

Thursday October 25th

  • Stop by to learn more about some tasty recipes, made by students, fo students. Try one of our favorite easy to make recipes, PowerBalls!
  • Time: 11am-1pm
